re-purposing for the pool

Yesterday I patched the holes in my pool lining.  That was quite an experience since I’ve never done anything like that before.  There were these plastic patches I had to cut to a certain size and round the corners, there was adhesive that worked under water.  I had goggles and was all set to go.  The first patch was small and went on easy.  (So proud of my self.)  The next two patches gave me a real hard time.  They were big, and I had to rub the bubbles out once adhered to the bottom lining.  Well, one can only hold her breath so long under water and the bubbles weren’t out and the corners were folder up or over on themselves.  After I came up 3 times, gasping or air I realized I could re-purpose, and used my foot to smooth out the patches, remove the bubbles and secure the corners. lol!
